Senior full-stack developer from Potsdam, Germany
Hello, my name is Florian, I am 40 years old and work as Technology Team Lead in Berlin. I originally come from Düsseldorf, where after graduating from high school I completed a vocational training as a travel agent in Iserlohn. Sixteen years ago I moved to the capital to study. At the Technische Hochschule Brandenburg (THB) I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degree in business informatics.
During my studies, which lasted from 2009 to 2015, I was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium.
During this time I also worked as a student assistant at THB, where I guided new students as a tutor through their project studies. In addition, I gained practical experience as a working student in the visitor services of the German Bundestag and in online marketing at tausendkind, an online shop for baby and children’s fashion, where I also wrote my bachelor’s thesis.
I began my professional career at TUI Deutschland GmbH more than 12 years ago. Initially, from April 2013 to February 2015, I worked as a working student in analytics and IT development. After completing my master’s degree in March 2015, I joined full time as a full-stack developer. Today I am responsible at TUI as a team lead for a cross-functional development team.

In my current role as team lead, my focus is on leading and developing an international team of software engineers and technology experts. Key responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring projects, fostering professional growth within the team, and supporting the delivery of innovative technology solutions.
